Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s

neurons

The final stage in human life is old age. It is the last step in the biological life processes of an individual, and it is an age group comprising a segment of the earliest members of a population.

To Hank, old age is a puzzle.

As Hank enters the last phase of his life, he is more energized and enthusiastic about learning new things. All of a sudden, a light comes from nowhere, and Hank begins to realize the potential of creating new jobs. As Hank continues to age and peeks through his window of knowledge, he begins to see his soul. Hank loves what he sees, and he agrees with his mind about the actual nature of an aging brain. An emotional growth of wisdom and knowledge develops that many of us acquire as we age. We become creative, and our ability to learn and grasp new ideas increases significantly. Hank thinks it is the power of an aging mind, which can be very powerful in charting the unknown. Joy in self-learning is a priceless moment in life.

At an old age, we are free from responsibilities except for ourselves. Now, we can enjoy our freedom. We can learn new things for our good and make money too. We can dream again. Recent brain science tells us our brain has a chance to perform better if we work at it. The aging brain gets better because of our experiences. The mind follows the brain. “Experience changes the brain.”. The oldest-old have the time and the resources to do it.

As we all know, old age brings many challenges, and we need to think positive. We must keep learning new things and must change our mental outlook to a positive image of aging and our mind active. We must engage ourselves in doing things we love to do and be productive.

Our mind is our best asset. We have to protect and enhance our brainpower. It often affects certain kinds of memory and specific aspects of attention and decision making. In our modern-day brain science, we know that new neurons and new connections in neurons continue to develop throughout our lives. We now know that the powers of the plasticity of our brains help protect and enhance our mental capabilities. Modern science tells us that the brain responds to mental stimulation. We have to exercise our minds.  The important thing is to enjoy while doing something good for you. Somehow Hank knows he is still a part of the world, but, in reality, he feels gone to a different world. Hank lives alone in his mind. Accept old age.
